My feelings are....mixed.
I'm upset, because without Ramis there's no Egon. I don't want him recast, 'out of town', killed off, digitally recreated, or a ghost. I don't want to see the original guys without Egon. Even in a small cameo. And what's the point of setting this in the original universe without showing the OG team?
We have SEVERAL continuations of that universe already: The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters in one continuity, and the ongoing IDW comics series for a totally direct movie continuation.
There is ONE thing I want to see from this sequel: I want the Answer The Call Ghostbusters to show up and make this a multi-verse ala the Spiderverse film. This actually happened in the comics, and it was AWESOME!
Plus it would really piss off all the misogynistic nay-sayers who tried to ruin the movie.
